A FBK Legal partner sat in judgement on the panel at ICC Moot Court 2017 Competition

25 April 2017

Nadezhda Orlova, FBK Legal partner, sat in judgement on the evaluation panel of a moot court organised as part of an educational initiative of the National Research University Higher School of Economics – Model International Criminal Court 2017.

During a mock trial as if held at the International Criminal Court the trial participants presented their arguments trying to get their message across to the jury while the jury made up from Russian and European renown lawyers was supposed to determine whose arguments were most persuasive.

“Such events help students dive into ins and outs of large litigations while still at the university, while we have an opportunity to get a good look at the rising promising lawyers,” Nadezhda Orlova said

Historically, FBK Legal has been an active participant of a variety of educational initiatives supported by the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Kutafin Moscow State Law University and other Russian leading law schools. FBK Legal has been among the supporters of the Model International Criminal Court project for the second straight year.
