FBK Legal at the "White Nights" International Law and Investment Forum
On 30-31 May in Arkhangelsk the ‘White Nights’ International Law and Investment Forum took place. This year the two-day forum agenda was the overall theme of ‘Law as the tool of progress in the regions of Russia’.
Anna Grishchenkova, head of FBK Legal Dispute Resolution Practice, within the framework of an Open University Day conducted a master-class of ‘Professional skills in litigation’, in the course of which she shared her recommendations on litigation aspects with the students of the Northern Arctic (Federal) University.
Besides, the lawyer spoke at the thematic sessions of ‘Lawyers’ professional standards in litigation: special risks and their management in the litigation practice’ and ‘M&A - Russian and not only Russian: special issues of professional cooperation of specialists in the projects on the movement of capital’. According to A. Grishchenkova, the forum was characterized with a balanced and highly relevant agenda, a high professional level of participants and dynamic discussions. ‘It was an honor for me to take part in the session and to be a co-moderator of Andrei Klishas, member of the Federation Council’, says the lawyer of FBK Legal. ‘For an exceptionally friendly atmosphere and interested discussion the credit should be given to the organizers. Council of Federation Committee on constitutional legislation, judicial and legal affairs, civil society held a field meeting on the topic of ‘State policy and the role of the legal profession in ensuring the constitutional right for qualified legal assistance’, in which took part: Igor Orlov, Governor of the Arkhangelsk Oblast, Andrei Klishas and Konstantin Dobrynin, Council of Federation members, Lesya Kolesnik, head of Central Directorate of ensuring the activity of the Investigative Committee, Eugene Semenyako, Chairman of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers, representatives of Russian and international legal firms and many others.
