New issue (in Russan) presents the articles of FBK specialists on the topical issues of tax optimization and accounting, corporate management.
In the article “On some practical aspects of customs registration of seabed soil samples” the head of Dispute Resolution Practice of FBK Legal Anna Grishchenkova and Ivan Shcherbinin, FBK Legal lawyer, expand on the necessity to declare the seabed soil samples obtained in the process of sea engineering surveying at the exclusive economic zones and continental shelves of other states.

The authors go into particularizing as to why such samples are treated as goods by the Customs Union Customs Code; the article also furnishes the algorithm of actions to register the soil samples; recommendations are given on the selection of the seabed soil samples appraisal method; there is also an explanation of how to find out the commodity HCDACS code and country of origin.
