FBK Legal Proves Procurement Violations in Volgograd Region and Kabardino-Balkaria

22 March 2023

Once again, our client faced unfair competition in a tender for state and municipal needs in the Volgograd Region and Kabardino-Balkaria.
In two more regions, FBK Legal managed to prove that the competitive supplier had participated in the preparation of the tender documentation for the procurement of robot-assisted gait training systems, the tender documentation had been drawn up for the specific manufacturer and contained additional unnecessarily detailed technical characteristics, which restricted competition in procurement of the systems. The Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Kabardino-Balkaria ruled that there had been violations in the preparation of the tender documentation and the materials had to be checked for compliance with competition law.
According to the senior expert of the Department for Legal Support Services to Strategic Clients Anna Aktanaeva, FBK Legal managed to change the situation in the market with only one predominant supplier, create conditions for the client to enter the market and allow for fair completion in government procurement tenders.
