FBK Partner at the Meeting of Transneft Council of Experts
FBK Partner Alexander Ermolenko, heading FBK Legal Corporate Practice, took part in the Transneft Council of Experts meeting on the petroleum products market development and pipeline system modernization.
The Council of Experts discussed the implementation of the program of modernization of the petroleum pipeline system, the construction of the new routes of export as well as some aspects of legal regulation in the field of petroleum products transportation.
Alexander Ermolenko addressed the meeting with his report of “Legal regulation of petroleum products transportation” in which he analyzed, specifically, a number of legal conflicts between the antitrust law in Russia and the technical regulations of the Customs Union arousing at the transportation of certain types of petroleum products in 2015.
“It is very important to have different legal acts regulating the transportation of petroleum products harmonized. In my opinion, the discussion at the Council of Experts of the legal issues will contribute to that,” said ?. Ermolenko.
The Council of Experts Transneft has been functioning since December 2012 as a public platform for discussing the topical issues connected with the functioning and legal regulation of the fuel and energy complex of Russia. The meetings of the Council of Experts are held regularly with the participation of representatives of the leading consulting companies, public authorities and managers of the energy companies.
