FBK Legal Participates in Tax Marathon

The Fifth Online Tax Marathon arranged by CFOCAFE has brought together the best Russian tax lawyers and international tax specialists, including experts from FBK Legal.

Galina Akchurina, a Partner of FBK Grant Thornton and the Head of the Tax Litigation Department, spoke about intercompany financing, its tax implications and risks that can be avoided. Head of Practice Alexander Grigoriev dedicated his speech to tax monitoring and the digital future of tax administration. Natalia Ryabova, the Head of the Individual Taxation Practice, updated the audience about tax law changes in 2020 and 2021. Artem Lomize, a Manager of the Tax Litigation Department, named five most common reasons for tax disputes.

For three days, speakers discussed key changes in legislation and recent court judgements. The marathon was held to advise businesses on tax planning amid the pandemic.
