FBK Legal on Mediation in Tax Disputes

Alexander Grigoriev, the Director of Tax Services and Digital Solutions at FBK Legal, has taken part in the third international forum titled “Tax Law: Novelties in Legal Regulation”, which was organised by the Tax Law Department of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University.

He spoke at a roundtable titled ?Mediation and Pre-Trial Tax Dispute Settlement: Pros and Cons? about how to find mutually accepted solutions and ensure sufficient awareness of the parties when trying to settle disputes arising from public legal relationships.

?We’re often biased. I don?t see it, so it doesn?t exist. Mediation helps to look at ordinary things by exploring interests, which gives more opportunities to find a solution,? he said.
