FBK Legal Holds Annual Tax Breakfast in Moscow
On 11 April 2023, FBK Legal arranged an annual tax breakfast at the Analytical Centre under the Government of the Russian Federation, which was titled “Changes in Tax Legislation and Relevant Practice in 2023”. The event was supported by the Moscow business ombudsman and the Russian Managers Association and brought together over 70 heads of legal functions from big and medium businesses. Alexander Grigoriev, FBK Legal’s Partner, moderated the tax breakfast.
FBK Legal’s lawyers talked about the most significant changes in regulations which became relevant this year and about the impact of the changes on the law enforcement and court practice. Liliya Yulgusheva, Senior Consultant at FBK Legal, spoke about the single tax account and single tax payment explaining the essence of the changes, application of payment orders in 2023 and modified reporting and tax payment deadlines.
Ekaterina Golubeva, Head of Practice at FBK Legal, dedicated her speech to changes related to income tax, transport tax, corporate property tax and land tax in 2022-2023.
Gleb Kuznetsov, Lawyer at FBK Legal, spoke about accounting for advertising and marketing expenses and related court practice.
Natalia Ryabova, Head of Practice at FBK Legal, focused on personal income tax, social charges and consequences of transitioning to the single tax account. She explained all changes related to personal income tax and social charges payment deadlines and procedures.
Ekaterina Subbotina, Head of Practice at FBK Legal, cited relevant court precedents to illustrate practical aspects of tax clauses.
Alexander Grigoriev, Partner at FBK Legal, and Roman Kenigsberg, Head of the Internal Audit and Risk Management Services Department at FBK, spoke about tax monitoring and its role in corporate risk management.
