FBK Legal Announces Appointment of New Partner

The law firm FBK Legal, a leading Russian audit and consulting group, announces the appointment of Victoria Arutyunyan as Partner, Head of the Legal Consulting Department. 

As Head of the Department, Victoria will focus on the development of the following practices: Corporate and M&A, Antitrust, Commercial, Banking & Finance, Sanctions Compliance, Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property.

Victoria has impressive experience in supporting companies on corporate law matters, including support of complex / cross-border M&A transactions, creation of joint ventures, business restructuring, redomiciliation, reorganisation, as well as building corporate governance systems and development of long-term remuneration programmes for top managers. Victoria also specialises in compliance, commercial and employment law and legal support for family office of shareholders.

Under Victoria’s leadership, for the first time in Russia, a study was conducted on the work of legal departments (benchmarking of the legal function). Moreover, Victoria has implemented more than 20 projects dealing with the assessment of efficiency and transformation of legal departments of major Russian and international companies.

Victoria has to her credit more than 18 years of experience working in well-known international legal firms, including the Big Four, as well as experience as a head of legal departments in a number of major Russian companies.
