FBK Legal Partner Alexander Grigoriev to Speak at Conference ‘Tax Control in 2025’ organised by Institute for Development of Modern Educational Technologies

23 May 2025

On 27 May, the Institute for the Development of Modern Educational Technologies will host a conference ‘Tax Control in 2025: Key Trends, Challenges, and Prospects’.

In 2025, tax burdens have increased while scrutiny has intensified. Inspectors now meticulously monitor transactions and cash flows for both businesses and individuals. Key focus areas include cross-border transactions, international shipping, corporate tax debts, IT incentives, share/equity transactions, employee bonuses, marketing expenses, asset ownership structuring, property tax payments, and other risk zones. Audits now account for industry-specific patterns, accumulated practices, and tax avoidance schemes identified in related sectors.

Speakers and attendees include representatives from the Federal Tax Service of Russia and leading legal firms.

Alexander Grigoriev, Partner at FBK Legal, will deliver a report titled ‘Property Tax: The Magic of Accounting or New Adventures of Old Assets’.

Participants of the event will also discuss the following issues:

  • How does the FTS monitor the IT tax incentive application?

  • What are the risks that arise when promoting goods, services, and works?

  • When do employee bonuses trigger tax disputes?

  • What are the implications of contract termination and liability cessation?

Format: offline (5-star Safmar Palace Moscow) or online. Participation fee is required.
