FBK gives a series of workshops for rising lawyers
Alexander Ermolenko, a FBK Legal partner, gave an opening speech at the launch of a course of workshops collectively named the Magical Mystery Tour designed by the FBK Legal lawyers for under- and postgraduates of the Moscow State Law Academy.
This series of workshops is supposed to educate rising business lawyers on the basics of the profession. Major topics for the course include M&A, dispute resolution, antitrust law, IP, employment law, bankruptcy, construction and real property.
As explained by Alexander Ermolenko, in developing a programme the best lawyers and leaders of FBK Legal, concentrated on case study skills training. To achieve that, a course structure as well as a range of topics have been carefully designed to highlight business cases from the company’s legal practice.
He went on to say, «We have long planned to develop a course which could effectively bring together experience and expertise, theory and practice, a course which could educate lawyers on the approaches to support business processes of any complexity and stand up for the legitimate interests of business people. And we’re definitely a success. The workshops have been primarily designed for the law students but, of course, we welcome everyone who’d like to acquire knowledge in law, graduates with specialty in business law, practicing lawyers, business people».
