FBK Legal at St. Petersburg Legal Summit
Leading lawyers from FBK Legal participated in the first St. Petersburg Legal Summit held on 18–12 May.
Senior Lawyer Angelina Balakina became a speaker of the third day in a session titled “Personal Data Regulation and Pressing Issues 2022–2023”. Angelina said that “a consent to personal data processing is not the only basis for data processing. There are 11 other options. For example, there are PD processing bases that do not require any consent: an employer files data with non-budgetary funds and tax authorities. Another example is exchange of litigation documents during judicial proceedings”.
The St. Petersburg Summit is a meeting place for people who are concerned about legal security of business and who are ready to influence the legal order for the benefit of the profession. The Summit was organised by the Action Pravo publishing group and the Corporate Lawyer magazine.
