FBK Legal Delivers Webinar on Personal Data Processing and Recent Legislative Changes

FBK Legal’s Senior Lawyers have delivered a webinar on personal data processing and recent legislative changes.

Angelina Balakina spoke about key changes in the Law on Personal Data (Law No. 152-FZ) and new legislative requirements concerning personal data, as well as about expected changes related to cross-border transfer of personal data.

Valentina Polyakova analysed complicated matters associated with personal data permitted to be distributed by the data subject, shared her insights into biometric data and talked more specifically about liability for personal data breaches.

The speakers mentioned that there had recently been significant changes in the personal data law, which affected the majority of companies. “We expect that the regulatory framework will continue to change. So it is advisable to pay particular attention to personal data processing and adjust related procedures in response to changes in the law,” Valentina said.
