A Get to know event for the students of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University
The students of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University were invited to visit the offices of FBK Legal and meet with its experts and top management. The visit was pre-planned as part of a course of workshops Magical Mystery Tour for the MSLA under- and postgraduates.
A series of workshops was designed to familiarize rising lawyers with day-to-day practices of the company as well as educate them on major topics, including M&A, dispute resolution, antitrust law, IP, employment law, bankruptcy, construction and real property.
The MSLA students had an opportunity to talk to a number of lawyers and attorneys-at-law of the company, but above all to meet the Vice-President, Irina Sukhova, the Head of FBK Legal Nadezhda Orlova and a partner Alexander Ermolenko.
When talking to students, Irina Sukhova said that legal education unlocks the door to the widest possible spectrum of opportunities. She gave an example of her own career path saying that successful start as lawyer paved the way for her into the company leadership.
Nadezhda Orlova further stressed the importance of such visits for future lawyers. In her closing remarks she said, «I believe, it is extremely important to open the doors of knowledge for our tomorrow’s lawyers and let them plunge into our day-to-day routines and get the insider view of how a successful legal practice operates. We will continue to organize and even expand the practice of holding these events in the years to come».
